A week-long test of my willpower is not what I agreed to.

The last thing I want on my cross-country road trip is my best friend’s sister hitching a ride. Josie’s like a rainbow, and I’m a brooding storm. As the only woman to peek behind my clouds, she tempts me like no other, adding distractions I can’t afford. My ailing sister is counting on me to live out the trip we dreamed about and give her a reason to smile. I will not let her down or betray my friend’s trust.
